OW: What has been your greatest inspiration?
CW: Becoming a mom of two daughters for me underscored the importance of the cliché “It’s better to be rather than to seem.”
OW: What are the most important intangible skills and/or abilities one can exercise?
CW: To consistently operate with integrity even when standing alone and no one is watching.
OW: What was the best thing that you have ever done, which got you where you are today?
CW: I hired myself when I needed employment and continued to press forward in spite of all of the opposition, chatter, and background noise.
OW: What is the biggest career mistake that you have ever made?
CW: Not attending law school. In business and in life you always need a lawyer.
OW: What would you tell your younger self?
CW: “Dream as if you will live forever, Live as if you will die today.” – James Dean. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God. Life truly is a journey and not a destination. Think before you speak. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Do all the good you can. Marry rich!
