Every year around this time, the claims to make changes, move on and do better becomes an epidemic . People swear to leave the old year behind and start anew.
By the end of January, you will find your exercise shoes collecting dust. Your financial commitments get dropped and promises to leave bad habits behind get broken. So it is back to business as usual.
How do you break the chain; that chain that holds the link that keeps you stuck?
Turn the page, finish the chapter, shut the book and put it on the shelf. In other words…move on with a clean slate.
Commit to not returning to the old ways of doing things. Change means letting go and “letting go” means change. Accept the things you cannot change and change the things that matter.
Don’t return to bad habits. Set goals and stay focused!
