Hair Artist and Dog Groomer Robyn Greer tells us why, at 53 years old, she decided to take up dog grooming.
I decided to go to school for dog grooming because I wanted to retire at some point from being a hairstylist for 30-plus years. However, I still wanted to do what I love: hair!
And it is definitely a lucrative business. I wanted my pivot to be intentional and make sense.
There was no doubt that I could do it.
I just want to be great at it. My concern is being as successful (money-wise) as I am as a hairstylist. The schooling is harder than I thought, but I am enjoying it!
My advice for women over 40 who are seeking to reinvent themselves is “Do it Scared.”
Faith without works is Dead!! Never give up on your dreams; if you never start, you will never finish!! Dream Big!!
