Summer is almost over, so why not try to get as much wear out of your bright ensembles while you still can?

For my most recent hot weather business affair, I decided to throw on some cool fabrics and some patent leather. Of course black and white is a staple for the summer months, a color blend that I love. So sure, I want to get one last wear.

I found this crop jacket for only $12.00. The pearl and onyx necklace is great to pull together my two contrasting colors.

The white pencil skirt, in my favorite silhouette, is just what I need to complete the attire.

I accented the look with a Neiman Marcus purse that I found for only $24.00 at a consignment shop. It came with its own storage bag, so you know it wasn’t cheap.

I haven’t worn these patent leather shoes since last year. They are a classic slingback pump, and for years to come I will be using tIMG_1735hem to add even more style to the look. Remember what we say around here.

What’s great is that you can wear Black and white in the fall and winter; just opt for the heavier fabrics.
