f color. La’Tasha is the Founder and Executive Director of New Voices Pittsburgh, a community-based organization dedicated to the health and well-being of Black women and girls.
Since 2004, NVP has served 10,000+ women of color through social change activism, civic engagement and leadership development. In 2014, New Voices Pittsburgh will launch theBlack Women’s Health Agenda™ and Black Girls’ Health Agenda™ – 5-10 year plans to the complete health and well-being of Black women and girls in the Greater Pittsburgh Region.
La’Tasha also serves as the National Chair of SisterSong based in Atlanta. La’Tasha has forged
institutional change as a Founding Commissioner on the Allegheny County Human Relations Commission (2009-2012) to protect the civil rights of LGBTQ residents, as current member of the Women for a Healthy Environment Leadership Committee, as current Co-Chair of the Social Action Committee of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. – Pittsburgh Alumnae Chapter and as past President of the Urban League Young Professionals of Greater Pittsburgh.

Amber is a hard-working and driven Marketing Executive, who executes a bevy of marketing activities for home health care services provider, Moriarty Consultants; and also serves as lead marketing consultant for a host of other companies such as: WADA Water, Inc., National Home Modification, Inc. and Activity Daily Living Services (ADL), Inc.

As the Chief Marketing Officer of Moriarty Consultants, Amber is responsible for overseeing brand marketing, supporting its Sales teams, coordinating trade shows, fair activities and directing the company’s public relations and social media campaigns, among other duties.  At Moriarty, Amber works side-by-side and under the direction of her sister and CEO, Arlinda Moriarty, who also serves as one of Amber’s mentors.

Amber is a native of Pittsburgh, PA., she grew up in the Garfield Hts. section of the city.  She graduated from Peabody HS. and was known in the community for her many interscholastic activities as well as her part time job at the Carnegie Library (East Liberty branch).  After High School, Amber went on to earn a B.S. degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  She is currently working towards earning an MS degree in Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.

In addition to her work as a marketing executive, Amber is also known for her fashion sense and social activities, including her volunteer support for many charitable organizations, including Uptown Summer Classic in Harlem, NY, which is a program which supports inner city youth on the path to college.  Amber currently resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Brian Joell Esq., Her philosophy on life: Is your beginning doesn’t begin to shed light on your end.

With twenty-five years in the the “business of beauty” Me’chele Humphries-Hayes is an industry stalwart. Her dedication to healthy hair, nails, and skin started early. With commitment and fortitude, Me’chele has grown her in her career from a nail technician in 1990 to a business owner in 2004.

Her accomplishment and finely honed skill as a stylist are renowned and respected.  She continues to develop her skills by attending workshops and seminars on a continual basis.

Me’chele has developed a substantial following of clients and admirers over the years because of her extraordinary talents. She has won such industry competition as:

Me’chele became a MRL Technician/ Educator for McBride Research Laboratory, Inc in January 2013 and will be opening Me’chele Wellness Spa, LLC in winter/spring of 2014.

Me’chele’s passion for her work as a stylist/educator has been a catalyst for empowering people to improve their quality of life.
